Fertility treatment raised stroke related risk by 44% but not other heart disease risks.
Fertility treatment did not raise most heart and kidney disease risks over 30 years. It did raise the risk of stroke related brain blood flow problems by 44%. Women who had trouble getting pregnant, whether they used fertility treatment or not, tended to have higher risks of heart and kidney problems in general.
